Donna D-H. Kuehn, formerly known as Donna Desmond-Hebl, is the owner of Kuehn Law Offices, LLC in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Attorney Kuehn opened the law firm in January 2002, having previously practiced with the firm Hebl, Hebl & Kuehn. Attorney Kuehn primarily practices in the areas of family law, estate planning, probate, guardianships and residential real estate.
Attorney Kuehn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1978. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1981.
Attorney Kuehn was admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the State of Illinois in 1982. She was also admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin in 1985.
Attorney Kuehn has served as Municipal Judge for the Village of Waunakee. She was first appointed as a Court Commissioner for Dane County, Wisconsin, in 1992 and was reappointed in 2004. In that capacity, Attorney Kuehn has officiated at marriages througout the state and conducted supplemental hearings. She has served on the TDS Board of Directors, and its successor, the TDS Advisory Board, since 1989. She has served on the Board of Directors, as well as President, of the Waunakee Chamber of Commerce of which she has been a member since 1987. In the past, she has also served on the Board of Directors for Waunakee Rotary and was a member of the Waunakee Optimists. Attorney Kuehn has been a volunteer attorney for the Case Mediation Program for Dane County, Wisconsin since its inception. She has lectured for civic groups, at State of Wisconsin Municipal Judges' seminars, and Wisconsin Continuing Legal Education seminars during the course of her career. She has also been voted by her peers to Madison Magazine's Best Attorneys in Family Law.
She is a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the State Bar of Illinois. Attorney Kuehn practices primarily in the counties of Dane, Columbia and Sauk in Wisconsin.
